Charlie started his love for firearms at the early age of 14 with his Stepfather. At 19, he became a sworn Law Enforcement officer and was for many years. In 2012, he decided to take competitive shooting seriously and since then has won several Division Championships and picked up sponsors along the way. A professional photographer by trade, if he is not shooting behind the camera, he is shooting behind a gun at the any given range.

Brent has been around guns his entire life and has always had a passion for shooting. His grandfather started him shooting at a very young age and instilled in him a passion for both target shooting and hunting. For a while, Brent was a competitive trap shooter at the Class A level. As an expert shooter, he was always willing to assist friends and colleagues with improving their shooting.
Brent’s career as an instructor had quite an interesting, hands-on start. He was at a local range one day and volunteered to help out one of the range’s employees who had never used a shotgun. This individual needed to become qualified in order to obtain a specific armed guard certification. Brent effectively taught him all about the weapon’s safety, different gauges and chokes, steady hold factors, and other nuances of its proper operation. Everyone took notice of Brent’s natural skills as an instructor and his deep knowledge, and encouraged him to pursue instructor certification. Sixteen years later, he is still at it, teaching all levels from basic to law enforcement. Brent is a big advocate of MILITEC-1 synthetic lubricant and lithium-complex grease for ensuring proper operations and maintenance.

At 4 years old, I fell in love with shooting when I was hitting targets with my grandfather while living in California. Honing my skills shooting squirrels and targets at every opportunity. Scouring the web for any and all technical firearms information I could find. Many hours were spent studying and disassembling my fathers’ firearms. Shooting competition opportunities were few in my area, so exposure to competition was limited to following several out-of-state shooters online.
Moving from California to Missouri in 2014 afforded me the opportunity to be in the middle of the competitive shooting world and attend several matches as a fan. It also allowed me to meet many of shooting sports talented and popular figures including the great Jerry Miculek while watching them compete. One thing that I really appreciate about the competitive shooters that I’ve met is their willingness to share information and expertise freely. An opportunity came up to attend History Channel Top Shot season 3 winner Dustin Ellermann’s Marksmanship camp in Texas. http://www.topshotdustin.com/ In 2015 I also went back and served as summer staff at his camp. http://www.camphisway.com.
Enjoying the freedom of Missouri, the first thing I did was build my own AR platform rifle with future competition in mind.
Starting in 2016, I began to venture out into the area of pistol competitions as a junior shooter. I attended my first NRA annual convention in Louisville and it really opened my eyes to how many great products and people are in this industry. The end of 2016 brought an exciting work-in-progress, developing and starting a business with my father to give our friends and co-patriots in ban states a legal storage option for banned items such as magazines, kits, and ammo. http://www.freedomscache.com.
2017 plans include as many matches as I can afford allowing me to build on my experience and skills. I am also hoping a shotgun finds its’ way to me this year and to hit a 3-gun match or two.

I enjoy teaching others about firearm safety and how to shoot. I also love teaching family and friends about our 2nd Amendment rights and our duties as an American. Regularly volunteering at the local Missouri Veterans Home visiting with our nations heroes is also one of my passions.
