Here you are with all your rifle cleaning paraphernalia - a bottle o'this a bottle o'that, a treatment for this and a treatment for the other and finally a couple of tubes of yet some other substances, the color of which makes your fingertips appear as if fingerprints have been taken for the next fortnight. Not only is it a chore to go through the umpteen kinds of treatment; it costs a packet too. Apart from that, even if you don't use the cleaned firearm for extended periods, you'll still have to repeat the procedure at regular intervals. The reason being that all available rifle cleaning/lubricating potions merely create a temporary film on and between the metal parts of your firearm. These lubricants, over a relatively short period, leave your precious firearm unprotected and the exposed metal parts will not only attract, but also retain, foreign matter. This in turn causes increased friction and heat during firing, causing accelerated wear instead of the preservation of the barrel and action you're after. Despair no longer my friend - MILITEC-1 has arrived on our shores. What is MILITEC-1 ? MILITEC-1 is a well-proven state-of-the art lubricant which continues to lubricate and thus protect since the product bonds into the structure rather than to surface of the metal. MILITEC-1 is a chemically-reacted, synthetic-based hydrocarbon derivative metal conditioner that protects metal with a constant impregnated molecular bond. That's the scientific jargon. In simple, practical layman's terms this means that MILITEC-1 is a metal conditioner that reduces friction and contributes significantly to the proper functioning of a firearm, at the same time facilitating for easier and faster cleaning/ MILITEC-1 through friction and/or application of heat, is absorbed into the metal, in doing so acting as the best metal protection on today's market as well as being the best lubricant available for the rifle buff. MILITEC-1 applied sparingly (only a few drops are needed) to all metal parts of the rifle, including the inside of the bore, will bond into the metal after firing a few shots or applying heat. Heat to 60 degrees Celsius can be applied in an oven or by a painter's air-blow gun or a hair-dryer. And now comes the best part ! One application done properly will be enough for no less than 100 rounds! |
How's that? For optimum results you should use MILITEC-1® as an all-in-one lubricant for each cleaning by applying it to the inside of the bore then wiping it with a clean rag. MILITEC-1® is used extensively by the US armed forces which put the product to the test during the Gulf War and in Kosovo. Among another 20 US agencies using the product are the Secret Service and the FBI. There could hardly be a better certificate of excellence. MILITEC-1® - the only Synthetic-based metal conditioner on today's market - * Reduces friction and delivers constant lubrication for your firearm * Greatly reduces metal fouling in the bore * Increases muzzle velocity and accuracy * Prevents jamming * Reduces wear * Facilitates faster and easier cleaning * Inhibits corrosion * Is highly concentrated and long-lasting * Applied around the trigger and on the bolt prevents dust, sand, dirt and snow accumulation For the initial coating of MILITEC-1® I suggest you clean your rifle in the normal manner, after which you should pour 2-3 liters of boiling water through the bore. The resultant heat in the barrel will see to it that no moisture will remain. Next, once more, use patches to clean up the last remaining traces of fouling and/or moisture. When the patch comes out whistle-clean, apply a thin coating of MILITEC-1®. Five to seven drops will suffice for the average firearm. After conditioning by heat and/or friction treatment gently wipe off any excess in the secure knowledge, that by doing this, MILITEC-1's lubricating and preserving properties will not be compromised.
