Subject: FOR THE RECORD
Dear Lew,
I was hoping to see you at the recent show in Richmond.
MG Nadeau has given our troops deadly advice. The link to his advice (and his new position) is @ http://www4.army.mil/ocpa/print.php?story_id_key=9032 and the rest of the info is on our website @ http://www.militec1.com/AMC_new.html
Do you recall, Lew, when you called me at home during October 2003 on five separate occasions and I warned you that the tests at APG would not be real world and we would flunk? You promised me that the tests would be real world.
I predicted RDECOM/ARDEC would fail our product in this new round of testing and CLP would come out on top. The link to the statement of the facts document that contains my accurate predictions to you (years ago) can be found on our site @ http://www.militec1.com/mildocs/statement_facts.html
The link to our correspondence and Michael C. Schexnayder's data is located on our site @ http://www.militec1.com/mildocs/LewAshley.html and http://www.militec1.com/mildocs/schexnayder3.html
I have spent over $200,000.00 in legal fees with two local firms over the past year trying to get our National Stock Numbers (NSN's) to returned to us. As you may recall, we have had our NSN's cancelled, suspended, given away to others and frozen a dozen times in the past 16 years. No other company in history has ever been singled out so many times regarding a single product that has not had a formulation change and is in constant demand by our troops.
MG Nadeau's attorney for RDECOM contacted my counsel last week and informed him that Nadeau was concerned about the content on our website and suggested that there may be a defamation issues. I instructed my counsel yesterday to contact the attorney for RDECOM, Mr. Phil Hunter, and tell him (under no uncertain terms) that additional postings about MG Nadeau will be coming online ASAP and the ONLY way I will modify the Nadeau content (or remove it) is to have RDECOM demonstrate good faith.
The only reason I am sending you this message is to give AMC an opportunity to do the right thing, just as Gen. Paul Kerns did when he had our NSN's reinstated back in October 2003. One week after the General retired, APG sent us the test (arrived Thanksgiving eve 2004) that used simulated (instead of the promised actual) conditions and did not even use real sand for the test. This desert lubricant testing should have been performed at YPG instead of APG. The test was also a year late and the suppliers were uninvited at the last minute to witness the proper application of their products on the test weapons. RDECOM changed the rules at the last minute. I also protested this test to RDECOM.
FOR THE RECORD: I am aggressively pursuing the ouster of MG Nadeau and will continue to post hundreds of additional documents about the lack of oversight at AMC.
Our troops have sent us over 25,000 emails requesting MILITEC-1 and ordered over one million bottles. Please investigate how many emails have been sent to RDECOM/ARDEC requesting MilSpec CLP or other lubes and compare requisitions (with all products) thru DLA/DSCR to find out the truth. We still receive daily emails from our troops and the USPS vehicle stops by our office everyday to collect the free supplies our troops have ordered. We have done this since 9/11 and will never stop responding to our troops call for help.
Our troops should not have to take apart weapons several times a day that have not been fired. This is deadly advice for our troops and MG Nadeau's position must be reversed at once or more dead troops will result.
Sincerely,
Brad P. Giordani
President
