Subject: Lou Ashley Phone Conversation on 14 Oct

Hi Alan,

Lou called me yesterday and asked if there were any developments. I explained there were and gave him the run down.

I asked for a brief letter on Army letterhead that said verbatim what DSCR told us. He said he would see, however, he thought it wasn't needed and DID NOT really want to do it. Lou suggested we post an announcement on our site, which we already did. I have three pages of notes that I will brief you on later.

Certain points require clarification and documentation, or history will repeat itself.

1. Lou was looking into on who's authority cancelled our war orders. Please recall, The Under Secretary of Defense directed DLA to establish new NSN's for MILITEC-1 in 1995 and make our product available to ALL MILITARY ACTIVITIES. Eight years later they were cancelled. Lou was even puzzled on how they were cancelled and was looking into it. This requires an answer.

2. With our new NSN's in the system, minus 1-gallon, 5-gallon and drums, should there be a fixed time limit on our reinstated 5-NSN's? There are many products that have active NSN's that don't have Picatinny or Army approval. How does Lou address this? The answer is, we are being singled out by Picatinny again.

3. If an Army unit (that had their war orders cancelled) called Picatinny to confirm weather or not MILITEC-1 could be used on Army weapons, what would they say? During the "60 day Thompson window" we were authorized for desert use by Picatinny, not simply approved for requisitioning. Then Picatinny was going to evaluate the AAR's and confirm weather or not MILITEC-1 worked in the desert. To suggest to the Troops, you can requisition MILITEC-1 from DSCR, however, its not authorized for small arms use is hard to comprehend. Who would requisition MILITEC-1 if Picatinny told them it was not authorized for use? Does this make sense? You can buy it, but don't use it.

I am sorry to say Alan, this whole thing is another set-up and I know from experience, based on the following: (a) in 1993 you're approved, (b) in 1994 your NSN's are cancelled, (c) in 1995 you're approved for use by all Military activities, (d) in March 2003 your war orders are cancelled, (e) in May you're approved for 60 days, (f) in July your NSN's are cancelled, (g) in October you're approved again minus three NSN's.

Requesting a letter that states what DSCR's message states should be SOP. Considering the fact that Picatinny has cost us millions of dollars in orders by going out of their way to harm us, is why a letter to counter act the damage that was done is required and should be no big deal, unless they have an agenda, which they clearly do.

The more time that goes by without Congressional intervention, only hurts us even more. My only agenda is to get back our credentials that were directed by the Under's office.

They need to fix this and do what is right, or nothing has changed.

Let me know what you think and a visit to Lou and/or Congress (Both Sides) is in order, unless good faith is promptly demonstrated.

I was very surprised at what Lou Ashley had to say. Please forward this message on to Lou.

Thanks,

Brad
