August 18, 2003MILITEC, INC. is proud to announce that the 1087th Medium truck company is leading the Army's main effort in fielding prototype gun trucks for convoy escort/protection missions into Iraq. MPRI are training truck companies in counter ambush techniques. The company commander and his entire staff are using MILITEC-1 exclusively for critical lubrication for these weapons.
The pictured gun truck is mounted with a caliber 50 M2, heavy barrel machinegun.
We are told 60 minutes is coming to Kuwait to view these awesome trucks in action.
