Rear Admiral R. J. Natter, USN
Chief of Legislative Affairs
Department of the Navy
The Pentagon
Washington, DC 20350
Dear Admiral Natter:
I am interested in learning more about a product called MILITEC-l, which has a National Stock Number. I understand that several state and federal agencies, including Navy, are incorporating this metal conditioner into their maintenance programs.
Since there appears to be a strong potential for this product's use in farm equipment and other areas which concern me, including heavy equipment here at the Capitol, I would appreciate your providing me unclassified documents which record Navy end-users' experience with MILITEC-1. While I have seen several testimonials originated within government agencies, including Navy, it would be most helpful if you would provide me a representative sampling of documented Navy end-user applications and results.
I do not expect Navy to produce original documentation to respond to this request. My interest is in available records concerning MILITEC-1 performance in the field.
Thank you for your assistance.
