"MILITEC-1" is the result of the latest in lubrication/chemistry technology. As a synthetic-based metal conditioner, MILITEC creates a super-tough film barrier that smoothes and seals the metal surface with a molecular bond so that moving parts can operate more efficiently, generate less friction, and cause a corresponding decline in heat and wear. The primary lubricant is not required to be in constant circulation for this protection. HQ Dept. of Navy, Asst. Dep. Under Sec'y (Safety and Survivability) certified and approved this product for immediate use by all commands under the Non-Development Item J&A # 89-006[Encl (1)]. Testing by USN, USMC, USAF, FBI, DEA, and others of the weapons handling and automotive professions prior to and subsequent to ADUSN (S&S) certification has shown conclusively that the use of this product will result in significant savings in both human and financial resources. Specific application for military use of "MILITEC-1" are: 1) break-in lubricant enhancer for internal combustion engines 2) crank case, transmission, gear boxes, bearings in:    (a) ground support equipment    (b) small boats/craft    (c) autos and trucks 3) compressors/pumps 4) lubricant/preservative for small arms, auto and semi-automatic weapons 5) metal cutting/drilling lubricant-cooler. SIMA San Diego [Encl (2)] exemplifies user results.        /// Source of supply is MILITEC, INC., 8430 Tidewater Dr., Norfolk, VA 23518
