Dear Colonel Manis:

This letter is to inform you of our current situation.

The Defense Logistics Agency has established new National Stock Numbers for "MILITEC-l." I have enclosed a copy of a letter from the Under Secretary of Defense informing Congress of that action.
We met two weeks ago with the Admiral in charge of engineering at NAVSEA and he assured us that we would have a level playing field within the Navy.

We would like to meet with you in the near future to continue the dialog which we started with General Prather. General Prather began assisting us in making "MILITEC-l" available to soldiers of the United States Army under the provision of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act.

Please let us know when it would be convenient to schedule a meeting.
