Dear Mr. Giordani:

This acknowledges receipt of your letter dated February 1, 1994 concerning the possibility that Mr. LaPera, Chief of Fuels and Lubricants for the U.S. Army, may have improperly used his position of authority to dispute the content of a Militec Corporation paid radio advertisement.

We have initiated a thorough inquiry into your allegation. My action officer is Lieutenant Colonel Ronald Smith. I will advise you of the results of the inquiry on or about March 28, 1994.
